Parish Safeguarding Policy Statement

Parish of Lower Wylye and Till Valley

The Parish Safeguarding Policy was agreed at the PCC meeting held on

Wednesday 13th June 2018

As members of this PCC we commit our church to supporting our families in the nurture and protection of our children and vulnerable adults.

We recognise that our work with children, young people and vulnerable adults is the responsibility of the whole church community.

We adopt and are committed to implementing the House of Bishops’ Child Protection Policies entitled “Protecting all God’s Children” (2010) and Promoting a Safe Church (2006) and the Diocesan Child Protection Guidelines (2011).

We undertake to select all our workers with care, to support them and to provide training for them.

We undertake to receive any complaints seriously and respond to them promptly.

We will review this policy annually.

Our Parish Safeguarding Representative is:

Name:  Daphne Smith
