Calling all families

There will be a pre-Christmas Activity Morning in Steeple Langford Church on December 2nd for all Primary School aged children and a parent /carer.

Do come and join us- it’s always a fun morning.

Activities for little brothers and sisters too.

It would help to know if you are coming so we know how many things to prepare.

Ring Mary on 01722 790739 or put your names down in the shop.

This is a service we hold annually and is for everyone, not just the children. It is a lovely service and everyone enjoys watching the children with their candles. If you haven’t been before why not give it a try.

As well as helping us all begin to prepare for Christmas in a meaningful way it supports the Children’s Society through the collection to which we hope people will give generously. The Children’s Society used to be called the Church of England Children’s Society and it works in a variety of ways to help children and young people make a better start in life than might not otherwise be the case. Parenting classes and helping teenage runaways are just two of the ways in which the Society gets involved.

This year the Christingle service will be held in Steeple Langford Church at 10.30 on Sunday 10th December

We will be making the Christingles on Friday 8th December at 6pm in Cowslip Cottage and would love some help. Any age from school age upwards can make them so please come and give us a hand.
